Kate Griffin

Sustainability Editor

Kate started her career as a youth reporter at the age of eleven. She has worked as a feature writer, property editor, reviewer, advertising copywriter, translator, SEO copywriter and community newspaper editor.

She is currently a writer specialising in energy and sustainability. She joined the Content Coms team of writers in 2019 and since then has written on energy policy, regulatory compliance, carbon-cutting technology, offsetting and energy efficiency.

Outside of Content Coms, Kate has blogged extensively about sustainability issues. She wrote The Low-Plastic Survival Guide for Oxfordshire and has given talks about how to live life with less plastic waste. She now runs the Pass It On wiki, which aims to keep unwanted items out of landfill by helping them find a new home.

In her spare time Kate is also a theatre reviewer for Ents South Wales.

Kate has an English degree from Oxford and an MA in Journalism & Cultural Studies. She also holds NCTJ qualifications in journalism and, more recently, a CIPR qualification in public relations.
