Content Coms Energy Expertise Helps Client to Secure Accolade for Online Info Hub
The ESOS Hub – developed and managed by Content Coms on behalf of INENCO was ‘Highly Commended’ at the recent 2degrees Champion Awards in London.
Run by leading sustainability organisation, the 2degrees network, the awards recognise outstanding contributions in the field of sustainable business. In total the awards attracted 5,000 votes and a whopping 4.9 million views on social media.
The ESOS Hub won its accolade in the External Communications category; voted for by 2degrees members.
Designed to be independent and vendor agnostic, The ESOS Hub provides a wealth of resources to firms captured under the ESOS legislation. Downloads and FAQs are available alongside sector-specific guidelines, up to date news and briefing documents. There is also a chance for visitors to get tailor-made advice by emailing in questions or using the Live Chat service.
Managing Director of energy sector communications consultants Joanna Watchman said:
“I am delighted for INENCO that the ESOS Hub has been recognised as an important information resource for those getting to grips with this legislation. The recognition by 2degrees is testament to a great deal of hard work by our own team, our web partners Red Box Web Design and INENCO’s ESOS experts.”
INENCO Director Anthony Mayall who led the ESOS project said:
“The ESOS Hub – which was developed for us by energy-sector marketing consultants Content Coms – sets a new standard for the dissemination of independent, targeted and vendor-agnostic market information.
This was an ambitious project with very tight timescales. As such, it required hand-in-glove teamwork between us and Content Coms to ensure ‘go live’ over a very short period of time.
“Content Coms managed the project from concept to delivery for us – which required their team to write a suite of targeted, sector-specific content on all aspects of ESOS. Working together, the ESOS Hub was completed on time and in budget – and impressively, it went live on the very day the ESOS Guidance was published by DECC. This was no mean feat.
“At INENCO, we can see that this move away from generic (and sales led) marketing information is clearly what the market wants and needs – and the results (over 25,000 visitors since launch) speak for themselves.”
Since its launch in June 2014, the Hub has received over twenty five thousand visitors and over 1500 file downloads.
