New legislation is the stimulus for content-driven online hub

Here at Content Coms, it’s been a busy month (already). Once again, changes to legislation have provided the stimulus for the deployment of a content-driven web-based info resource for Inenco – the P272 Information Hub.

This info–driven, ‘vendor agnostic’ online ‘Hub’ has been delivered ‘from client brief to go live’ in less than a month.

The new P272 Info Hub follows the same model of content-driven communication as the highly successful ESOS Info Hub launched last June – which has been shortlisted for a major industry award.

All of the web content – a mix of articles, FAQs and guides, has been written by the Content Coms team. The site itself was built by our friends at Red Box Web Design in Stafford – with whom we’ve now partnered on the build/deployment of over 10 energy-sector websites.

What’s it all about?

P272 is a new piece of regulation impacting on all businesses using electricity meters in profile classes 05 – 08. P272 states that affected businesses must use automated meters – and these meters must send regular half hourly usage data to energy suppliers.

Inenco asked us to create the P272 Info Hub to help improve understanding of this new legislation and its impact on UK business.  The P272 Hub is a centre point for an active P272 Community – it provides an opportunity to take part in the discussion forum and ask questions of Inenco’s experts. Inenco’s marketing team will deploy a campaign to drive awareness of P272 including events, roadshows, PR and online engagement.
