Offsets are polarising topic. Many business leaders on the Net Zero pathway (which will include INSIDER readers) and ESG-savvy, often younger consumers, see carbon offsetting as blatant greenwash.  The truth is, for most companies – particularly those in energy intensive manufacturing industries – right now, there is only one way to reach Net Zero emissions – and this includes an element of offset.
