About Joanna

Joanna is our Founder and MD. Coming from a creative family, Jo first set foot in a global media agency aged 9 and loved it. She has since grown up to become an award-winning communications consultant specialising in marketing to the energy, built environment and technology sectors.

Her skills and interests include:

Having delivered campaigns to an impressive portfolio of blue chips and FTSE250’s including Siemens, GE, OSRAM, Thames Water and Ibstock plc, Joanna is widely regarded as one of the most experienced and best connected B2B comms professionals of her generation.

Joanna is passionate about the built environment and its impact on our lives. From wellbeing to aesthetics, to design, form and function, she has spent much of her 22 year career communicating positive messages about the way buildings can be made ‘human centric’. In 2018, Joanna will launch a UK-wide campaign promoting awareness of ‘healthy’ workplaces and their impact on positive mental health.

She is extremely well connected in the built environment arena and has built up an enviable network that includes investors, influencers and the media. As such Jo is in demand for regular contributions as a media spokesperson

Educated at the University of Kent, Joanna is a Schools Enterprise Advisor for the West of England Local Enterprise Partnership and a Fellow of the Royal Society for the Encouragement of Arts, Manufactures and Commerce.

In a nutshell

“I’ve spent most of my career turning complex ideas and technologies into strategies that incite action and build profile. But, the starting point for me is always to ‘think customer’. This is what gives power to a campaign.”
