46 per cent of homebuyers don’t want to take on Green Deal finance says survey

Awareness of the Green Deal is rising among the public but many say they would be unhappy about taking on a Green Deal finance plan when they bought a property, a survey by Which? has revealed, writes Greenwise Business.

Research by the consumer organisation suggests that more than half of the population (52 per cent) is now aware of the Green Deal

This is up from a third when the scheme launched in January. But Which? found that almost half (46 per cent) of the more than 2000 people it surveyed said they would want a Green Deal finance plan paid off before they bought a property.
