DECC issued £2.6m for new Green Deal fund
A total of £2.61 million was issued to householders across England and Wales through the Government’s new energy efficiency scheme in its first week, reports Energy Live News.
The Green Deal Home Improvement Fund, which was launched last month, offers householders up to £7,600 for installing measures including solid wall insulation, double glazing and efficient boilers.
The scheme saw more than 1,700 applications made for the fund, according to DECC.
