Energy PR agency visits pioneering commercial greenhouse


Content Communications, a Bristol-based energy marketing company, was recently invited to visit an innovative CHP (combined heat and power) installation at one of the UK’s largest commercial greenhouses in Kent.

The expert in green-tech marketing was commissioned by its clients, sustainable climate management firm and intelligent building controls specialist Priva UK and CambridgeHOK to use its specialist writing skills to produce a case study about A Pearson Growers LTD and its new Rolls Royce 15MW CHP system. The installation is the first of its kind for nearly a decade and it is 90%+ energy efficient. Pearson will benefit from ‘free’ CO2 to aid enhanced plant growth, and will enjoy fixed energy costs for the next twenty years.

Content Coms, which also specialises in technology marketing, was delighted to have the opportunity to visit the state-of-the-art site and was impressed by the commitment and enthusiasm of the company’s Business Development Director, Philip Pearson.
