Bristol PR company says “new energy legislation will benefit low-carbon companies”

The European Commission has announced that member states will have to improve their energy efficiency by 30% by 2030.

This energy efficiency target is expected to boost energy security through reducing dependence on natural gas imports, as well as create new opportunities for businesses and more affordable bills for householders.

The target goes alongside two other EU climate policies for 2030 – a 40% cut in carbon emissions and a 27% renewable energy target. Content Communications, a green-tech marketing expert, sees these targets as a unique opportunity for firms that specialise in energy-efficient technologies.

Joanna Watchman, Managing Director at the Bristol PR agency, Content Coms, says: “In order to achieve these targets, all sectors will be turning to energy-efficient upgrades and other retrofit technologies. It should be an exciting time for those that provide these goods and services.”

She adds: “But it’s vital that green-tech companies distinguish their offerings. As a low-carbon marketing specialist, we know that tailored content marketing is key to ensuring that firms stand out in this rapidly-expanding market.”
