It’s a bright winter… 5 trending themes at Content Coms this November
For many, the onset of winter brings darker days. But at Content Coms, the darker months (known in the trade as ‘The Lighting Season’) remind us just how bright our portfolio is.
This year’s Strategies in Light Europe conference and exhibition is set to be the biggest and best in the event’s six year history.
At Content Coms, lighting marketing strategies are our middle name. That’s why, this year, we were chosen to run the PR for SILE by show organisers, Pennwell Corporation. Combining an impressive mix of cutting edge content and networking – SILE is THE event in the lighting components calendar. Be there. (We will!)
#2 LuxLive 2015
As the ultimate showcase for the lighting community – LuxLive is where the end-users meet the manufacturers. Once again, long-standing Content Coms client Tamlite Lighting will take centre stage at the show. With the biggest stand at this year’s show (again) Tamlite’s theme for LuxLive is something we can all be proud of: BEST OF BRITISH. We won’t steal their thunder, but, let’s just say they’ve got some fantastic things planned for the show. See you there.
#3 Keeping the lights on
For those of you running businesses, you won’t have escaped from the fact there are a couple of big deadlines looming…
As such, much of our work during 2015 has been focused on developing deeper thought leadership, and associated content, on how schemes like ESOS or P272 can alleviate the UK’s power supply issues.
So, in our own little way, we’re helping keep the lights on ahead of the December 5, 2015 ESOS deadline.
What’s more, we’ve already planned further useful content surrounding why energy blackouts could be so damaging for the UK as a whole. Watch this space.
#4 Energy Efficiency Tax Review
The Government’s review of business energy taxation is set to change the game for every UK business in 2016.
Right now, we’re monitoring trends, gathering intelligence and helping our clients meet the review’s challenges.
The deadline for the consultation period is November 9th 2015. Our message is a simple one: make your voice heard and contribute to the process.
#5 Autumn Statement from The Chancellor
It’s that time of year again. Truly.
The Chancellor, George Osborne, is due in Parliament on November 25th to deliver his Autumn Statement. We’re not predicting any big news for the green-tech sector – but, we’ll be keeping eye on what’s what (so you don’t have to).
